Belleville Semi-truck Fire-truck Accident

There was a story in the paper today about a truck driver hurt in a Belleville semi-truck fire-truck accident on February 7th in Wayne County. According to the Michigan State Police, a truck driver was critically injured when his semi-truck allegedly collided with a fire truck on eastbound I-94 near Rawsonville Road. Fatal Roseville Tractor-Trailer Pedestrian Accident

There was a story in the paper today about a person killed in a fatal Roseville tractor-trailer pedestrian accident on January 25th in Macomb County. According to the Roseville Police, a 50-year-old Warren resident was walking on the right lane of Groesbeck Highway, just south of 12 Mile, when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer, driven by a 45-year-old Saginaw man. Police state the truck driver tried to stop his fully loaded tractor-trailer but was unable to before hitting the pedestrian. The pedestrian was rushed to St. John’s Macomb Oakland Hospital where he died from his serious injuries. Police are still investigating this matter.

Ottawa County Van-Semi-truck Trailer Roll-over Accident

There was a story in the news today about a truck driver injured in an Ottawa County van semi-truck trailer roll-over accident on January 19th in Polkton Township. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, a 63-year-old truck driver attempting to pull his truck into a driveway near 80th Avenue, near Cleveland Street, exited the truck to assess the situation when a minivan, with a 62-year-old driver and 62-year-old passenger, alleged collided with the rear of the trailer causing the trailer to roll onto the truck driver. The truck driver was extricated from underneath the trailer and taken to a local hospital for treatment of his serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the minivan were also taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Police are still investigating this accident.
