Truck Collides With Semi Sending One To Toledo Hospital
Donivan Mullins, 45, was driving his pickup truck westbound on U.S. 6 Wednesday evening when a tractor-trailer pulled out in front of him. Ricardo Medina, 36, attempted to make a left hand turn onto the highway, but failed to yield the right of way to Mr. Mullins. He was cited.
Donivan’s pickup collided with the trailer’s wheels and landed off the side of the road. He was trapped in his truck for an extended period of time and had to be cut from his vehicle.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene, but due to the inclement weather, Mr. Mullins was taken by ambulance to the Toledo Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
The accident caused U.S. 6 to be closed for nearly three hours while crews worked on cleaning up the scene.
