Montcalm County Semi-Truck Accident Is Fatal Killing Woman And Infant
Our Michigan truck accident lawyers are reporting a fatal Montcalm County semi-truck-car accident that took place at the intersection of Neff and McBride roads. According to police, a semi-truck failed to stop at a stop sign colliding with an SUV that held a woman driver and an infant. Both the woman and the infant died on impact of the accident. The driver of the semi-truck suffers head injuries.
I am very sorry to hear about this fatal accident. My condolences go out to the families of the deceased victims and I also hope the injured driver recovers without any permanent damages.
Our Michigan truck accident lawyers advise victims of their legal rights. Family members of the deceased victim may be able to make a claim for Survivor Loss Benefits for the deceased victim. This can include payment of funeral expenses, lost wages, and loss of other services.
Also, the family members of the deceased victims may have a claim for a Michigan wrongful death lawsuit against the driver if police determine was negligent and caused the truck accident. At the very least, the surviving family should hire the best possible lawyer to look into these possibilities.
The injured semi-truck driver may be able to submit a claim for Michigan No-Fault insurance benefits. No-Fault benefits will cover medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured individual can claim these benefits even if they did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy.
