Shelby Township Cement Truck – Car Accident
Our Michigan truck accident lawyers are reporting a Shelby Township cement truck-car accident. The accident took place yesterday on 22 Mile, just west of M-53. According to police, the cement truck crashed into the car injuring both the driver of the car and the cement truck. Both injured individuals were taken to the Macomb County hospitals.
I am very sorry to hear about this accident and hope both injured individuals have a fast recovery without any permanent damages.
Our Michigan auto accident lawyers advise accident victims of their legal rights. For this type of car-truck accident, the injured individuals can submit a claim for Michigan No-Fault insurance benefits. No-Fault benefits will cover their medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured parties can claim these benefits even if they did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy.
In addition, one of the accident injury victims may also have claims for personal injuries against the driver determined to be at fault in this accident. The insurance company for the negligent driver typically pays a settlement for this type of case. In this lawsuit, the injured victim can claim damages and compensation for the injuries suffered in the accident.
